Ranveer Singh will next be seen playing a tough cop in Rohit Shetty's upcoming masala entertainment movie 'Simmba'. While the actor has commenced shooting in Hyderabad the new man joining the team is none other than Sonu Sood. The trio is simply enjoying each other's company and here's the proof, actor Ranveer Singh recently shared a picture of him with Sonu and Rohit from the sets of 'Simmba'.

The 'Padmaavat' actor captioned the picture as "भाई from another आई !!! 💪🏾 💪🏾💪🏾🤣🤣🤣 @sonu_sood @itsrohitshetty #Simmba @karanjohar @saraalikhan95"

The trio is all smiling in the picture but what caught our attention is Sonu's physique. One can see Sonu Sood flashing his six pack abs in the picture and Ranveer pointing towards his well-toned abs.  Looks like Sonu is all set to play the quintessential villain in the film. Earlier Sonu also played a villain in Salman Khan starrer 'Dabangg'

Sonu Sood has been making headlines for quite sometime after he walked out from Kangana Ranaut starrer ' Manikarnika: the Queen Of Jhansi' after Kangana donned the hat of the director for the movie. Earlier Sonu was alleged to opt out of the Kangana movie because of Kangana directing the movie but the 'Dabangg' actor cleared his stance by revealing that the 'Manikarnika' dates were clashing with 'Simmba'. While Sonu had to spot a beard in the period film the makers of 'Simmba' wanted him to be clean shaved for the role. As the dates kept clashing and caused inconvenience for the team of 'Simmba' Sonu decided to walk out of the film.

The film also features Sara Ali Khan daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan in the main lead and is slated to release on December 28.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' starring Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin. The actor is also prepping up for Kabir Khan's directorial '83' which is based on the historic 1983 Cricket World Cup victory at Lords, London and will reportedly play the role of veteran Indian cricketer Kapil Dev.
On the personal front, Ranveer will reportedly tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend actress Deepika Padukone this year.
