The Independence Day of 2019 is a really promising date which is being vied by many Bollywood films. Earlier on, three big films were all set to release on the big holiday weekend next year. One of them was Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Made In China', which also stars Mouni Roy. Now, here is an update on the upcoming film of the 'Stree' actor.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm that the release date of 'Made In China' has been pushed back to August 30, 2019. This will come as a sigh of relief to Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, for their films are also releasing on Independence Day. Akshay's 'Mission Mangal' and John's 'Batla House' are already clashing at the box office as they are releasing on the patriotic holiday. With 'Made In China' also in the mix, it was looking like all three films would have a tough time to get enough screens. But now, that the makers of the Rajkummar Rao starrer have stepped back, it would give more breathing room for all three films.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar also has another film in the pipeline for the upcoming year. He will be teaming up with Dinesh Vijan once again for a horror comedy, but this time set in Uttar Pradesh. The duo had made the highly successful 'Stree' earlier on in the year and are looking forward to weaving their magic once again. Akshay, on the other hand, has signed a three-film deal with Fox Star Studios, the first one of which is 'Mission Mangal'. He also has 'Kesari' and 'Housefull 4' coming in 2019, which means there will be plenty of him in the upcoming year.
