Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and Shah Rukh Khan who played father-son duo in Aditya Chopra’s iconic 1995 venture 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' won the hearts of the audience with their on-screen rapport. The veteran actor who played 'Daddy cool' for SRK in the film was an absolute contrast to the contemporary fathers of Hindi cinema. The supportive father that Kher played in the film was more a friend to his love-struck son, as he inspired and guided him as the love story proceeded.

Years after the release of the iconic love saga, recently, on Thursday, Anupam Kher remembered his co-stars Shah Rukh Khan with a heartwarming social media post. Taken over by hard-hitting nostalgia, Kher shared a gif of him and Shah Rukh on Twitter and extended a message for his on-screen son. In the post, he wrote, "मेरे प्यारे @iamsrk !! बस ऐसे ही!! न्यू यॉर्क में तुम्हारी अचानक याद आयी। We have had some great times together. And then we all grew up!! Love and prayers always.#DilwaleDulhaniyaLeJayenge"

Following the same, Shah Rukh Khan replied to the post in the most adorable way possible. Re-tweeting Kher's post, SRK, who is known for his unbeatable charisma replied to the post saying, "Arre nahi Daddy Cool! ‘Grow up’ hon aapke dushman. Hum dono ka dil to baccha hai ji. Come back home let’s start with snakes and ladders and we can move to making sand castles in the air. Miss you."

Anupam Kher, who is currently in America owing to his work commitments further replied to Shah Rukh Khan and said that he will meet him immediately after returning to the country. He also extended love to the 'Zero' star.
