CONFIRMED: Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Launch Niece Sharmin Segal Opposite Javed Jaffrey's Son Meezaan In 'Malaal'

Ace Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to launch a fresh pair with his upcoming film 'Malaal'. He will be featuring his niece Sharmin Segal opposite actor Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan in the upcoming venture.

Ace Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to launch a fresh pair with his upcoming film 'Malaal'. He will be featuring his niece Sharmin Segal opposite actor Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan in the upcoming venture.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and made the announcement. In a recent post, he revealed that the film will be directed by National Film Award for Best Children 's Film winner Mangesh Hadawale, while it will be jointly produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, and Krishan Kumar.

Sharing a picture of Sharmin and Meezaan, Adarsh wrote, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali introduces his niece Sharmin Segal and Meezaan [son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi] in #Malaal... Trailer out on 18 May 2019... Directed by Mangesh Hadawale... Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar."

Talking about his Bollywood debut, Meezaan reportedly in an interview said that being an actor was not a childhood dream but it was Bhansali who made him believe in himself and now is backing his launch. 

Media reports suggest that Bhansali production's CEO revealed that they see the potential of a versatile actor in him. They have reportedly signed him for three films and as the promise to bring forth new talent.
