Bollywood is abuzz with the news that broke millions of hearts - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's November wedding. The duo that has been tight-lipped about their relationship since the inception of it all finally made it official by sharing the announcement through their social media handles. However, marriage rumours had already been doing the rounds ever since last year.
However, recent reports suggest that the two will get married in the South Indian tradition as well as the North Indian way. The wedding is said to be a four-day affair that will kickstart with a sangeet function on November 13, followed by a Kannadiga style wedding on November 14. Whereas, on November 15, the duo are all set to tie the knot in a North Indian way. Reportedly, since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Punjabi-Sindhi origin, the two families have decided to follow customs that will be practised by both the communities. The report further stated that the wedding will strictly be a family affair, and there will hardly be any representation from the industry. The celebrations are said to be followed by an intimate party on November 15.
A few days ago, both Deepika and Ranveer took to their social media profiles to announce their wedding date saying, "With the blessings of our families, gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness."
Here's the post!
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are said to be seeing each other from the last 5 years and have finally decided to tie the knot. The duo has clearly set major couple goals from their public display of affection to Ranveer Singh receiving an award on behalf of Deepika and video calling her to make sure she is a part of the celebration.
The couple who worked together in three back-to-back films of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has never confirmed their relationship or marriage plans till now, but today they took to their social media handles to drop the news of their wedding. The couple is most likely to get married in Lake Como, Italy. Coincidentally, on November 15th which is their wedding day, their first film together 'Ram Leela' completes five years. Is that just a coincidence or a planned move?
