Deepika's principles on investment

Deepika spoke about her stint as an investor in an interview. When she was asked why she decided to start investing, she said that several factors influenced her. The first factor was the risk and excitement of investments. The thrill of making the right decisions and overcoming the possible risks. The other factor that interested her was the opportunity to meet new people who worked in completely different industries.

She was also asked how she decided what company she wanted to invest in. Deepika replied by saying that she chose her investments the same way she chose what film scripts she wanted to act for. She said, that was the process she followed for any decision in life and that she always followed her gut instinct. She was also asked what expertise she offered to a business as a Bollywood star. Deepika said that she felt like she brought emotion to the table where it was previously absent. She feels that businesses often become very number driven and that people lose their gut instincts and emotions when it comes to investments. She further stated that all her investments are in companies that she believes are making a positive influence on the world and the market.

She also spoke about how she interacts with and benefits the brands that she is associated with as a celebrity. Deepika said that she wanted to have more involvement with the brands that endorse her rather than the vanilla endorsements. She also said that she wanted to be seen as an actor that is aligned with her brand's vision. When asked who she thinks she got the business savvy mind from, Deepika said that she did not receive it from her family as none of them has ever studied business. However, the question made her remember a producer that she worked with many years ago. He had said that he envisioned her as a future producer and said that she had a business mind.

When it comes to acting, Deepika will next be seen in the film Chhapaak. It will be a movie based on the life of an acid attack survivor named Laxmi Agarwal. The movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar, who is also producing the film, alongside Deepika herself and Fox Star Studios. The movie is set to release on January 10, 2020.
