Getting a tattoo is painful. The Rock, Rihanna, Jared Leto, Chris Hemsworth, and Jason Momoa from Hollywood have tattoos. While Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra are some popular names in Bollywood that have been inked, there are some actors who eventually realised that their tattoos became meaningless and insignificant. Many stars got themselves inked while they were in love, but when the romance ended, their tattoo stood void and null.

Bollywood celebrities who altered or removed their tattoos

Amy Jackson

Making her Bollywood debut with Ekk Deewana Tha in 2012, Amy received a lot of admiration for her good looks. She was seen alongside Prateik Babbar. As per reports, the two started dating during shooting. Amy expressed her love by getting herself inked with ‘Mera Pyaar Mera Prateik’ tattoo on her forearm. But as their relationship ended, she got the tattoo removed.

Angelina Jolie

In 2000, Angelina Jole married Sling Blade actor Billy Bob Thornton. But the marriage was short-lived, and the couple broke it off after three years, in 2003. The brief wedlock did result in a tattoo of Billy Bob’s name and a dragon on her left arm. After the divorce, Jolie had the tattoo removed from her arm and a list of family birthplace coordinates inked in its place.

Deepika Padukone

One of the most talked-about relationships in Bollywood is Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika was so deeply in love with Ranbir that she got a tattoo with his initials ‘RK’ on the nape of her neck. Her tattoo grabbed everyone’s attention for a very long time. However, she got rid of her tattoo and is now married to Ranveer Singh.

Johnny Depp

During his Edward Scissorhands era, Johnny Depp was a huge crush for his co-star Winona Ryder, as mentioned by him. While deep in love, he tattooed “Winona Forever” on his right bicep. When the two broke off the engagement in 1993, Depp wanted to remove the evidence from his arm. He had the “na” removed from Winona, leaving the tattoo to read “Wino Forever.”
