Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are less than 24 hours from becoming husband and wife. The pre-wedding rituals have reportedly kicked off, and there's a lot that's set to happen over the next two days. Here are five things that we expect from the 'DeepVeer Ki Shaadi' to take place at Lake Como in Italy.

1. Similarities with Virushka wedding: Apart from the fact that both are popular celebrities, there is a lot about Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone’s relationship that resembles Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s love story. Both the couples were known to keep their relationships under wraps, never confirming it, though their frequent appearances and views on each other had never left any doubt in anybody's minds. Unlike Virushka, at least DeepVeer have confirmed the marriage and the dates it is taking place, but the rest of the story around the marriage is similar. The actor-cricketer duo had also got married in Italy. Absolutely nothing else was known for sure, just like DeepVeer, who are also set to employ complete secrecy. Don’t be surprised if they themselves drop the first picture like Virushka had done to announce their wedding. Moreover, Deepika and Ranveer are reportedly set to wear Sabyasachi Mukherjee outfits, another common factor.

2. Decoration, music and food: A picture of men dressed in black suits making the decorations in Lake Como had surfaced and had gone viral immediately. Reports also claim that 12 florists have been hired from Florence to deck up the venues. As far as the music is concerned, Harshdeep Kaur is said to be one of the performers for the Mehendi function and is likely to sing tracks like ‘Kabira’ from Deepika’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and from Ranveer’s ‘Band Baaja Baraat’. One of the most important aspects of the wedding is always the food and the menu is likely to consist of delicacies of Konkani culture on the first day and of Sindhi food items on the next day. Apart from the Indian dishes, Italian and continental dishes are also reportedly a part of the menu.

3. Customs: The Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies have reportedly taken place at the Villa Del Belbianello at Lake Como in Italy on Tuesday, 13 November. The couple will reportedly tie the knot according to South Indian rituals, related to Konkani customs which Deepika belongs to on 14 November and according to Sindhi traditions, familiar to Ranveer's culture, on 15 November.

4. No Bollywood presence: Though names of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan have been reported to be among the ‘confirmed’ guests for the occasion, it is highly possible that there wouldn’t be anyone from the glamour world. However, most of them will make an appearance at the reception to be held in Mumbai on 28 November.

5.  Ranveer’s quirks, Deepika’s grace: After the period of secrecy is over, videos are definitely going to surface on social media. And there’s no doubt that we’ll find Ranveer dancing like crazy in them, something we associate with him. His soon-to-be wife will obviously be joining him and look a lot more graceful and composed, like always. But we can surely expect the groom to leave his bride for a few moments to show some of his quirky dance moves with his near and dear ones.

We'll obviously not mind getting much more than expected, and unexpected things from Deepika and Ranveer's wedding will make it all the more interesting.
