Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Wedding: After Amul, Durex's Punny Wish For The Newlyweds Is Winning The Internet

Durex had made headlines with their quirky wishes for the last two popular celebrity weddings in the country, Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja and Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma though they were not associated professionally with them. So when their brand ambassador, Ranveer Singh gets married, how can the condom brand not make a mention of it? Durex took to Twitter on Wednesday to congratulate their very own Ranveer on his wedding with Deepika Padukone.

As ‘DeepVeer’ tied the knot according to traditional Konkani customs at the Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Como lake, northern Italy, the company posted a picture with a caption congratulating the newlyweds for ‘Officially putting a ring on it’. In their caption, they assured the couple, “We've got you covered.”

Previously, in December last year, they had conveyed best wishes to Virushka with the words, “Let nothing come between you, except... Durex.” 

Even Amul had wished the couple in their trademark style, with the smart caption of 'Ranveer is not single anymore' and that it was their 'Depic-tion of taste.'

Ranveer Singh is the first mainstream Bollywood actor to endorse a condom brand. The actor’s wacky fashion sense has always been a part of the news, and social media had gone berserk over of his outfits, by saying he was dressed like a ‘condom’. Durex had an interesting response to the actor getting trolled as well, sharing a picture of him in his outfit and writing, “Always exciting, always safe.” 

Though fans are still waiting for the official pictures of the couple in their wedding attires, photographs and videos of the limited view of the ceremony had gone viral immediately. The couple is likely to get married according to Sindhi customs on Thursday, 15 November.
