The much-anticipated Bollywood wedding of the 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took place on Wednesday, November 14 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. As the couple finally tied the knot in a Konkani style traditional wedding, reportedly at around 1.05 PM Italian time, the chant of 'Har Har Mahadev' and 'Ab Yeh Vivah Sampann Hua' reportedly filled the air. Seven hours after ceremonies began, the couple was spotted departing from their wedding venue in a luxury Italian vintage boat for CastaDiva resort, situated across the lake. They were accompanied by their close associates who covered them with black umbrellas while they boarded the vessel.

According to ANI, both the stars donned traditional south Indian attires for their Konkani wedding. Reportedly, Deepika looked magnificent in a peach Sari with her hair tied in a bun and Ranveer wore a long cream coloured Kurta suit.

Not much about the guests of the event is confirmed as the celebrity couple decided to keep things super private. Reports suggest that the wedding celebrations were attended by a limited number of guests who were mostly including friends and family of the stars. Although Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, were expected to attend the event, none of them was spotted in the pictures that released on the Internet. The wedding was held under the surveillance of tight security as the celebrity couple has apparently deployed a high-end three-level security system to ensure complete privacy. Small powerboats manned by security guards were deployed to guard the venue. A wedding photographer has also been hired for the occasion, and it seems that they have requested the guests to not put up pictures on social media.

The couple, who was long speculated to be in a relationship, confirmed the same with an announcement on October 21, this year. Following the Konkani wedding, media reports suggest that the couple will be hitched in Sindhi style, on Thursday, November 15.
