Deepika Padukone Terms Question On Her Marriage 'Insensitive' During An Event

If there is one thing that fans of Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are eagerly looking forward to, it is their marriage. For a few months now, it has been speculated that the ‘Ram Leela’ co-stars are going to tie the knot in November. The two actors have been reportedly dating for a few years now, but have never admitted to it in public. However, their public display of affection and their social media camaraderie are proof enough of the love they share. Since the speculations, the media has been posing questions about their marriage to the actors at every event they are present at.

Recently, Deepika Padukone was at an event in Delhi to talk about mental health and about her NGO, The Live Love Laugh Foundation, which was established in 2015. She was talking about how her NGO helps out people suffering from mental health issues.

During the event, when Deepika was asked about her speculated November marriage, it did not go down well with the ‘Finding Fanny’ actress. She replied, “ I am certainly not answering this question… It’s an extremely insensitive question to ask at an event like this.”

In 2015, Deepika Padukone had revealed that during the shoot of her film 'Happy New Year', she was struggling to go for work each day. It was after she broke out in front of her mother, did she seek professional help from a doctor suggested by her mother. After talking to the psychologist she found out that she has been suffering from anxiety and depression.

Since then the actress has spoken about her depression phase at several events. At the event, the ‘Om Shaanti Om’ actress said that it was important for her share something that was very personal to her, something that had changed her life, and something that she felt had a lot of stigmas when she was experiencing it.

Initially, the actress was reluctant to take medication for depression and was of the opinion that it can be dealt with conversations. However, with her condition not improving, she took medication and got better over time.

Meanwhile, the actress who was last seen in 'Padmaavat' has not signed any project until now. However, she reportedly has a cameo in Aanand L Rai's 'Zero' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
