The much-anticipated Bollywood wedding of the 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took place on November 14 and 15 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Keeping up with both the cultures, the celebrity couple got hitched twice- one time in the traditional Konkani style and a day after that in traditional Sindhi style. The couple then continued with the line of reception parties which seems to have finally concluded with the Bollywood bash on Saturday, December 1. The star-studded event hosted several A-listers from the film industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, among others.
Meanwhile, the bride Deepika dazzled at every party styled by ace designers and even her jewellery also made a mark. But what was most important was her wedding ring. The ring Ranveer gifted Deepika is an emerald cut diamond, crafted by Karan Johar's brand Tyaani. It shined bright in the wedding pictures shared by the pair on social media. The company took to social media and shared the news of designing the piece of jewellery. In an Instagram post, they wrote, "Grateful and overwhelmed!!! Team Tyaani by @satyanifinejewels, feels privileged to have been given the opportunity by @ranveersingh to help curate this classic wedding ring for @deepikapadukon. Thank you @riticulousness and @anjubhavnani as always for having faith in us. We wish the couple all the love and happiness in the world!"
Here's the post:
The celebrity couple marked their first public appearance as 'husband and wife' at their reception bash at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru on Wednesday, November 21. The grand reception bash was attended by several celebrities from the sports fraternity including ace shuttler PV Sindhu and cricketer Anil Kumble. For the event, both Deepika and Ranveer were dressed in their traditional best. While Ranveer donned a Sabyasachi Mukherjee designer sherwani, Deepika dazzled in a golden saree gifted by her mother.
Again, Ranveer's sister Ritika Bhavnani hosted a party for the newlyweds at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, last week. The pair was seen sporting multicolored funky outfits for the bash, designed by Manish Arora. For their third reception bash in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 28, the pair matched their look in white and gold. They were styled by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Rohit Bal for the evening. Several politicians and business tycoons reportedly attended the event.
