Deepika Padukone has made her way to the list of top female actors in the Bollywood film industry. The actress has been applauded for her performance in India and abroad. She is not only known for her performance but also her elegant looks and her stunning fashion sense. Above all, Deepika Padukone is popular for sporting her toned body, which seems to have motivated many women to get fit. The tall beauty tied the knot with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in November 2018. The wedding took place at Lake Como, Italy. Following the wedding, the two hosted their reception in Mumbai and Banglore.

Diet regime

According to some of her interviews, to keep up with her toned body, Deepika stays away from processed junk food and prefers eating healthy. Deepika Padukone’s diet includes fresh fruits and vegetables that contain vitamins, carbohydrates, and fibres. All of these nutrients are essential for improving one’s health. The actor also eats food packed with omega-3 fatty acids which includes fish. Specialists have said that along with eating healthy food, hydration is equally essential for our body. Deepika Padukone stays hydrated by drinking water, buttermilk, and natural juices and drinks. She also ensures that she eats at regular intervals. While Deepika abstains from smoking, she does not mind occasionally eating something that isn't a part of her everyday diet. This can be seen from a post that she shared on Instagram. Deepika Padukone begins her day by drinking warm water that is mixed with honey and lime juice or drinks water that has been kept overnight with fenugreek seeds immersed in it. Her breakfast is rich in protein and calcium, which includes milk and less-oily South Indian food like idlis and dosas. Her lunch usually includes roti, fish and a wide range of fresh vegetables. After having food packed with vitamins and carbohydrates, she prefers nuts for evening snacks. Deepika usually prefers to have chapattis, vegetables, and salads for dinner. Deepika Padukone also does not mind indulging in dark chocolate now and then.

Deepika Padukone’s road to a perfectly fit body

In some of her interviews, Deepika has revealed that she was going through depression, and the athlete in her pushed her to fight depression. Besides following a strict, disciplined diet, Deepika maintains her toned body with a variety of exercises. Her workout regime consists of a mix of cardio, strength training, dance and Yoga exercises. Deepika Padukone’s fitness regime also includes Pilates.
