Deepika-Ranveer Mumbai Reception: Mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani is giving a tough competition to the bride's look

The wedding celebrations of Bollywood's much-loved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh continues as the pair hosts their third reception in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 28.

The newlyweds looking regal as they dressed up in white and gold. While Deepika was styled by designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the evening, Ranveer donned a Rohit Bal Couture for the evening. Deepika wore an ivory and Gold Chikankari ensemble and accessorised herself in a divine multi-tiered floral neckpiece and earring set by Saboo at AJSK. Ranveer complimented her look donning a white and gold sherwani. 

However, Ranveer's mother Anju Bhavnani stole the show as she looked radiant in a gorgeous black and gold attire. The new mother-in-law paired her look with long gold earrings and a set of bangles. She smiled at and posed for the paparazzi as she entered the venue.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Keeping up with both the cultures, the celebrity couple got hitched twice- one time in the traditional Konkani style and a day after that in traditional Sindhi style. The celeb couple donned Sabyasachi couture for most of their wedding festivities. 

Following the grand wedding, the celebrity couple marked their first public appearance as 'husband and wife' at their reception bash at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru on Wednesday, November 21, the grand reception bash was attended by several celebrities from the sports fraternity including ace shuttler PV Sindhu and cricketer Anil Kumble. For the event, both Deepika and Ranveer were dressed in their traditional best. While Ranveer donned a Sabyasachi designer sherwani, Deepika dazzled in a golden a saree gifted by her mother.

Again, Ranveer's sister Ritika Bhavnani hosted a party for the newlyweds at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, last week. The pair was seen sporting multicoloured funky outfit for the bash, designed by Manish Arora. Following today's celebration, the celebrity couple is going to host another reception parties in Mumbai one on November 28, for Ranveer's friends and extended family and another on December 1, for the Bollywood fraternity.
