 Actress Katrina Kaif had saved Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' from getting delayed by hopping on board after Priyanka Chopra backed out of the film, 10 days ahead of the shoot. After completing the first schedule of the film in Mumbai, the cast and crew are now in Malta, shooting for the second schedule. Katrina Kaif joined the cast in Malta, where she will begin filming her part. 

The actress who is very active on social media shared a picture of herself in Malt and revealed her look from the film. The 'Tiger Zinda Hai' looks gorgeous in the picture with smoky eyes and curled hair. She is wearing a white coloured checkered shirt with red lacy border.

When Priyanka Chopra was selected to play the lead in the film, Katrina Kaif was finalised for a cameo role in the film. The actress was then approached for the lead role and obliged to play the part. Katrina recently wrapped up the shoot of Anand L Rai's 'Zero' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. She has also signed Aamir Khan starrer 'Thugs of Hindostan'. 

Salman Khan's looks from the film had leaked earlier while they were shooting in Mumbai. The actor plays a circus artist in the film and the movie is set against the backdrop of the popular Russian circus in the 19060s and 1970s. 

Disha Patani also has a pivotal role in the film and will be seen playing the role of a trapeze artist. Actor-Comedian Sunil Grover will also be playing an important role in the film. Recently, the actor posted a series of his pictures from Malta, which were clicked by Salman Khan.  

'Bharat' is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father. The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man. Reportedly, 'Bharat' will show us the journey of Salman Khan and India from 1947 to the early 2000s.  The Hindi version film will reportedly be different and will be set in the time of India-Pakistan partition.
