Did Priyanka Chopra Fly All The Way To Dubai To Meet Salman Khan For 'Bharat'?

The feud between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and actress Priyanka Chopra over the film 'Bharat' seems to be never-ending. Recently buzz is that actress Priyanka Chopra had flown all the way to Dubai to ask Salman Khan for a part in the film.

The feud between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and actress Priyanka Chopra over the film 'Bharat' seems to be never-ending. If reports are to believed then Priyanka Chopra had flown all the way to Dubai to meet Salman Khan in order to bag a role in the film. Earlier, there was a buzz that Priyanka Chopra had called  Salman Khan's sister, Arpita Khan around 1,000 times in order to work in the film 'Bharat'. Reportedly, commenting on the same Salman Khan had revealed that Priyanka had not just called Arpita, but also director Ali Abbas Zafar, numerous times in order to get a part. Although the official reason given at the time for her opting out of the project was her engagement plans with Nick Jonas, reports suggest that the actress thought that she would be overshadowed by her co-stars Disha Patani and Tabu, due to which, she decided to walk out of the project.

Earlier during a press conference, Salman Khan was quizzed about the rumours circulating 'Bharat', where he revealed that Priyanka Chopra was never the first choice for the film. Further, he stated that it was Katrina who was initially offered the film and that the 'Mary Kom' actress was the one who called up Ali Abbas Zafar and expressed her desire to be a part of the film, post which the actress was considered for the role.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Copra has been replaced by Katrina Kaif in the project, who is now playing the female lead in 'Bharat'. The first schedule of the film has already been shot in Malta, and the cast and crew of the film are currently all set to leave for Abu Dhabi to shoot the second schedule of the film. Along with all the other eminent personalities, the film also stars comedian-turned-actor Sunil Grover and the 'Dilbar' songstress Nora Fatehi. The film is said to revolve around two-on-screen lovers, but the highlight is said to be the comical element present in their relationship. It is slated to release on Eid 2019 and is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
