An off-shoot of the New York Magazine, The Cut wrote in a what can only be described as a shameful article that called the nuptials of PeeCee and Nick was 'a sham'. According to this article, 'the two are power hungry and will do anything to mint money and popularity'. This, of course, has not gone down well with Priyanka's sister in law Sophie Turner as well as Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor.

Taking to the Twitter, the two called out the magazine for this blasphemous and really distasteful article and gave them a piece of their mind. While Sophie called it, "wildly inappropriate" and "utterly disgusting", Sonam termed it as, "racist, sexist and disgusting". The B-town actress also lamented at the fact that it was written by a publication such as The Cut and it was surprising that the writer was a woman herself.

Well, it seems like the magazine clearly overused their freedom of speech and it is certainly not going down well with the readers and netizens alike.

Meanwhile, the article has also accused that the wedding of the two celebs was filled with brand endorsements such as Ralph Lauren, People, Google Pixel, Tiffany's and many other famous names and continued to further push their judgmental narrative. It remains to be seen if either the actress or the international singer would dignify this venomous article with a response or not. However, knowing Nick's romantic and protective nature when it comes to PeeCee, we can probably expect some strong reactions!

Furthermore, The Cut has removed the article from their website after facing so much flak for it and claimed that 'it did not match their standards'. They also apologised for it on their page, take a look.
