However, like always with every bold picture comes the moral police and the actress got trolled for her outfit choice. But here the diva showed the real presence of mind and instead of replying to their mean comments, simply chose to ignore them. Disha immediately disabled all comments on her picture, effectively putting the matter to rest.

The naysayers had mostly taken offense at the fact that she should have worn something more traditional on a day like Diwali. While many used unacceptable and unparliamentary language to express their views, some of them displayed their outrage in a more cogent fashion:

On the professional front, the actress will be next seen in 'Bharat', where she will be essaying the role of Salman Khan's sister. Her character will be that of a trapeze artist and Salman will be playing a stuntman in the film. The actress had also expressed her excitement on working with a superstar like him and had said that an opportunity like this was a dream come true. 'Bharat' also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in pivotal roles and is all set to release on Eid next year.
