The film starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, and Priyanka Chopra was well-received by the critics and the audience for its concept and narration. Apart from the star cast and concept, the film also caught the eyes of the audience for the style statements of the characters ion the film. PeeCee's character's Neha earned her the nickname Desi Girl. After the release of the movie, many of her fans tried to opt for her hairstyle and outfits.

Sadhna

During '60, late actor Sadhana's appearance in the Lata Mangeshkar's popular song Lag Jaa Gale was not just popularised for its performance, but also the hairstyle pot by the actor gained a massive fan following. Reportedly, the fringe-cut hairstyle was renamed as Sadhana-Cut by her fans.

Asha Parekh

The film released in 1959 titled Dil Deke Dekho, was directed by the director Nasir Hussain. The side-parting hairstyle became the trend after its release. The female lead actor Asha Parekh's style was followed by many of her female fans. She sported the same hairstyle for her film Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai.

Zeenat Aman

Throughout her career in Bollywood, actor Zeenat Aman was seen carrying her same classic hairstyle. Her straight hair with a side flick was adored by many of her fans. The hairstyle was popularised in the last '80s.

Kangana Ranaut is one of the top actors of the industry currently. The Queen actor's natural curls went on to be followed by many of her fans.
