As the ongoing celebration of Durga Pujo and Navratri is all set to conclude for the year, celebrities have already started extending their greetings for Dussehra and Vijayadashami. Dussehra is the final day of celebration of the annual Hindu festival. The end of Navratri marks the beginning of Dussehra. Celebrating the victory of good over evil on the day, people across the nation burn effigies of Ravana, host dinners and light crackers to send out Dussehra wishes to their loved ones. Several celebrities and eminent personalities have also donned the colours of the festival. They took to social media to wish their fans and followers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and wished the entire nation on Dussehra saying, “May Maa Siddhidhatri's blessings bring success, good health and well-being in everyone's lives. Here is a Stuti.”

Anushka Sharma

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also extended greetings to her fans and followers. She took to Twitter and wrote, " Wishing everyone abundant happiness and prosperity, lots of positivity and joy this Dussehra.. !"

 

Sonam Kapoor

'Neerja' star Sonam Kapoor also extended Dussehra greetings to her fans. She took to Instagram and posted a picture of her donning a traditional outfit. In the picture, the actress wore a blue lehenga and she captioned the post saying, "Happy Dussehra to everyone!! Today marks the end of the Ramlila. Celebrate the power of light over darkness and the importance of positivity and faith. I hope you all have an auspicious and bright Dussehra! ✨"
