Ekta Kapoor shared the news of becoming a mother through surrogacy on Friday, February 1. In a common post she shared across her social media platforms, the film-TV producer wrote that she has seen successes across her life, but ‘nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul’ being added into her world and that she couldn’t express her delight at the baby’s birth.
Ekta’s brother Tusshar Kapoor had become the first single father in Bollywood in June 2016 after welcoming a baby boy Laksshya via IVF. The siblings' friend since childhood, Karan Johar followed suit by becoming a parent to twins, Yash and Roohi, in February 2017.
