Recently, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan commented about pay disparity and gender bias that exists in the Bollywood world. Talking about it, she said that all depends on the choices one makes. If one decides to just walk away, then things will change gradually. But then if they just decide to go with the flow, then how is anybody bring in a change to the recent condition? The 'Fanney Khan' actress further states that it depends on the choices you make, and everybody's case is different. Not naming a few celebrities, she states that a few people decide to act in the movie, although it is paying less because they don't want to miss out on the opportunity. Over the time, there have been various debates revolving around the same. Further, the former Miss India said that the only way to bring in a change is to just walk away and in order to bridge the disparity, one should definitely walk away. The issue came to recognition at Cannes 2018 when as a part of the 'Mee Too' movement, Cate Blanchett led around 81 female directors, producers and actors in order to protest pay disparity and sexual harassment.

Just a while back, the movie 'Fanney Khan' starring Rajkummar Rao, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor hit the box office. 'Fanney Khan', which is the official remake of 'Everybody's Famous', marks Atul Manjrekar's directorial debut. As per reports, the filmmaker recently revealed that it wasn't Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao but Priyanka Chopra and R Madhavan who were the first choices for the film. Manjrekar revealed that Priyanka and Madhavan couldn't be a part of the film due to date issues. Manjrekar has earlier directed a number of ad films and has also worked as an assistant director and as an editor for over 20 years.Recently, she was spotted committed to brand endorsements, and guess who was with her? Well, our very own Aaradhya. Accompanying them was also Aishwariya's mother and after the trip, various pictures surfaced on the internet where the trio look extremely happy and joyful.
