EXCLUSIVE: BHUMI PEDNEKAR TO LAUNCH CLOTHING LINE SOON?

In an exclusive interview to Republic TV, Bhumi Pednekar revealed that she is open to launching her own clothing line if an opportunity comes along.

Bhumi Pednekar has reached great heights in a career spanning just three years. As she continues to spread her wings in Bollywood, Bhumi, in an exclusive interview to Republic TV says she is open to exploring new ventures.

Bhumi has had an unbeatable streak in her three-film career so far. The actress started her career as a casting assistant and has gone on to become one of the most dependable actors in Bollywood. In an exclusive interview to Republic TV, when asked if like her counterparts like Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Bhumi would consider starting her own clothing line soon, the actress said that she is open to the idea. Bhumi said, “Currently I’m just concentrating on my work but yes if an opportunity like that comes my way then why not. I love fashion, I love clothes and I think I have a unique individualistic sense of style so yes maybe.” During a media interaction, the actress added that when it comes to fashion, she looks up to veteran actress Rekha and Sonam’s Kapoor’s sense of style. Bhumi said, “I admire Rekha Ji, she is beautiful. Sonam (Kapoor) is obviously one of the most stylish people. I think nowadays pretty much every body’s style game is on point.”

Bhumi Pednekar, who carries herself with utmost elegance and grace, said she prefers ethnic Indian wear over anything else. The actress said, “Indian clothes are the most comfortable. Our fabrics are the most comfortable to wear in any season. I always look for a reason to wear traditional clothes.”

On the work front, Bhumi will next be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Son Chiriya’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress has also bagged a role in the multi- starrer Karan Johar directorial ‘Takht’ featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is slated for a 2020 release. The actress was also recently seen in Netflix's 'Lust Stories', a sequel to 'Bombay Talkies' (2013). 'Lust Stories', which is a four-part film each directed by different filmmakers, explores love, sex, and relationships in modern India. The film garnered much love and appreciation and Bhumi's refined performance of a house help who has an affair with the flat owner was accepted with open arms.
