EXCLUSIVE: 'It’s Just A Great Feeling To Have Your Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds,' Says Sunny Leone As She Unveiled Her Scented Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds In Delhi

  • Sunny Leone on Tuesday, September 18, unveiled a one-of-its-kind scented statue at Madame Tussauds in Delhi that also has her signature scent.
  • This is the first time any Indian celebrity’s statue has been given its signature scent.

A few months back a special team from Madame Tussaud’s London flew in to take the measurements of Bollywood diva Sunny Leone for her statue to be placed at the Delhi outlet of Hollywood’s iconic franchise. The actress, on Tuesday, September 18, unveiled the one-of-its-kind scented statue at Madame Tussauds in Delhi that also has her signature scent. This is the first time any Indian celebrity’s statue has been given its signature scent. Lust from Sunny’s perfume label adorns her wax figurine in the capital. 

Talking exclusively to Republic TV, the actress shared her delight on being a part of something larger than life. “It’s just a great feeling to have your wax statue at Madame Tussauds. It’s a brilliant team and they have done a fabulous job with it,” she said.

Talking about her experience, Sunny previously shared that expressing her excitement by saying that she was thrilled and grateful to Madame Tussauds for this gesture. She added that it was an overwhelming, unique and memorable experience for her as it was the first time she had undergone a sitting. The actress joined the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and many more who have their wax statues in different outlets of the renowned museum of celebrity wax figurines. 

On the personal front, Sunny has her hands full being a mother of three. As per the latest report, she said that she loves spending time with her family so much so that she misses them while she’s away at work.

What's next for Sunny Leone

On the work front, Sunny Leone is currently shooting for the second season of her biopic web series 'Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story' which is aired on an online streaming application Zee 5. Sunny Leone made her entry in Indian cinema with Mahesh Bhatt's 'Jism 2'. The actress has been featured in several Bollywood films since then including 'One Night Stand' (2016), 'Don Ki Jung' (2016),  'Beiimaan Love' (2016), 'Mastizaade' (2016), 'Luv U Alia' (2015), 'Ek Paheli Leela' (2015), 'Jackpot' (2013), 'Ragini MMS 2' (2014), and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai (2015), to name a few. Her last Bollywood venture was 'Tera Intezaar' (2017) which also starred Arbaaz Khan, Aarya Babbar, Gauhar Khan, Sudha Chandran, and Bhani Singh.
