Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar's row has taken a yet-new-turn with the onset of another month. The actress, who has been in the news for levelling allegations of misconduct against the veteran actor, has been keeping unwell ever since the news broke.
However, on October 1, Nana's advocate Rajendra Shirodkar in a statement shared that they have filed a legal notice against Tanushree Dutta for putting false allegations on his client further demanding a public and media apology. In a statement on Saturday, the actress revealed that she hasn't received any legal notice as yet but is putting together a team of lawyers and advocates to defend her interests.
Now speaking exclusively to Republic TV, Shirdokar said that they sent the legal notice on Friday evening itself.
"We sent out the legal notice to Tanushree on Friday evening and she will receive it by end of day today. The allegations have been denied and we have also asked for an apology in writing. We have also said that you knew that the allegations were false still made it in the view to malign and defame my client and he has received several calls where people have been surprised and that by itself is amongst the defamation. And we have said incase you don't send an apology, we will file criminal proceedings against you."
Talking about his conversation with Nana Patekar, he said that he hasn't spoken to him today but will be briefing him on the proceedings tonight. Meanwhile, Tanushree has been keeping unwell ever since the news resurfaced, in a statement, she shared that this is not just a news story anymore and that this has turned into a war that she has been called to partake in for not only her sake but for the sake for countless millions.
