In an exclusive interview on 'Court Martial' on Republic Bharat with Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, the actress said she is not controversial, but it’s perhaps the media channels that make news revolving around her controversial. The ‘Queen’ star said small tiffs might have happened, but she has never 'crossed the line' unlike many others and that she is a ‘good citizen’ who has got ‘immense love.’

Kangana said, “Controversial maybe is not the right word (for me). Rebellious maybe is the right word. Probably the person who breaks the maximum rules is me. When the channels report, they make it a controversy and report. Small tiffs are okay, but I personally don't think I have ever crossed the line. Bollywood actors have crossed the line, crossed the roads,  crossed the law also. I’m not that kind of an actor. The manner in which I have lived my life or proceeded according to my rules, I feel I have got immense love. I don’t think I stay in the controversies in that way. I feel I am a good citizen as well.”

'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' has been riddled with controversies ever since the film released. The ongoing conflict between Kangana Ranaut and director Krish owing to the credits for the film is making the headlines lately.

Krish has accused Kangana of ‘hijacking’ the movie after she took over the directorial reins of the movie from him. He dismissed the latter’s claims of shooting 70 per cent of the movie. The actress recently hit back at the director saying he ‘shouldn’t attack’ her over it and should’ve gone to the producer instead. She also asked him to prove his counter-claims.

One of the actresses, Mishti Chakravarty also slammed the actor-director for 'chopping' her role off. Previously, Sonu Sood had also left the movie over differences with Kangana.
