Farhan Akhtar flies to London for the launch of his debut album 'Echoes'

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar who is all set to launch his debut album 'Echoes' took off to London on Monday, February 4, for the same. The actor took to social media and revealed that he had already set off for the launch event. He shared a picture of the boarding pass in his Instagram story and captioned the post saying, "Off to talk music #Seagull #Echoes".

Speaking about the album, ANI quoted Farhan as saying, "It's about chapters in my life and voices in my head that have influenced the writing. All of us have our personal journeys through life, through love. We struggle at times to make sense of our emotions and of the world around us. So here I am, speaking as honestly as I can about my journey."

The third single from the album, called 'Seagull' was released recently and it has topped the charts of several music apps. Announcing the release of the song a week ago Farhan penned an emotional note revealing the behind the scene story. He said, "At last the wait ends... I want to tell you all about my new single Seagull. I've had this song with me since 1994. At the time it was just a poem about someone I loved moving away from Mumbai. A poem about remembering the good times and letting go. On February 1st, this song will no longer belong just to me but to all of you."
