Recently, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar met the pop-rock band 'The Vamps'. The British pop rock band 'The Vamps' enjoys a huge fan base in the country.

The British pop rock band 'The Vamps' enjoys a huge fan base in the country, which reportedly promted the boy band to come down to Mumbai for a second time in a period of two years. The band came to Mumbai last in 2016 for the Global Citizen Festival. Recently, the director-actor-musician Farhan Akhtar paid a visit to the band of four in their hotel on Wednesday. And, interestingly along with him, he brought his kids- Shakya and Akira too. 

Taking to the photo-sharing app, Instagram, the actor posted a series of pictures of himself and kids with the popular boy band. He further captioned the picture as 'Pleasure meeting you @thevamps and needless to say, my girls were thrilled. Thank you for putting these smiles on their faces. 😊✌🏼 .. Safe travels & packed houses.'

Earlier, the actor released his first ever Hindi single as an independent singer. Looking at the lyrics and the video one can say that the song is all about lost love. Taking to the photo-sharing app, Instagram, the 44-year-old actor posted his latest single. He further captioned the video as "Sharing the music video, Farhan Akhtar tweeted captioning, "Here we are... from @rochakkohli and myself for you, courtesy the rocking team at @zeemusiccompany #JaaneYeKyunKiya."

The actor is one of the most well-recognized celebrities of all times and is best known for his role in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhag'. he 2013 biographical sports drama film directed by Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra was based on the life of the Indian athlete Milkha Singh. The film was inspired by the autobiographical book 'The Race of my life' which was penned by Singh and his daughter Sonia Sanwalka. The film traces Milkha Singh's childhood, the impact of India's partition on him and his life post-partition and to the time he finishes fourth at the 1960 Summer Olympic.
