First Look: Danny Denzongpa Looks Promising As Ghulam Ghaus Khan In 'Manikarnika- The Queen Of Jhansi'

Makers of Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika' unveiled the first look of Danny Denzongpa as Ghulam Ghaus Khan where he can be seen riding a horse donning a black Patthani outfit with a turban and a leather vest.

Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika- The Queen Of Jhansi' has been in the news ever since the making of the film is announced. However, as the film is nearing its release the makers have started revealing the first looks of the characters. Although the focus will be no doubt on Kangana Ranaut’s character Rani Laxmibai aka Manikarnika, the queen of Jhansi, her life journey will be incomplete without her close ones and those who helped in the 1857 freedom uprising. After the first look of Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta, and Atul Kulkarni were released, makers have now unveiled the first look of Danny Denzongpa as Ghulam Ghaus Khan. 

Film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the image where Danny as Ghulam Ghaus Khan can be seen riding a horse donning a black Patthani outfit with a turban and a leather vest. Taran Adarsh shared the picture on Twitter and captioned the post saying, "Danny Denzongpa as Ghulam Ghaus Khan in #Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi... Stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead... Trailer on 18 Dec 2018... 25 Jan 2019 release."

Meanwhile, Jisshu Sengupta who is a known face in Bengal entertainment industry will be playing the role of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao, the king of Jhansi and husband of Rani Laxmibai. His look standing in front of the throne is impressive with the turban, the sword in his hand and the rings, earrings, chains and the moustache.

Also, Atul is all set to portray Tatya Tope on screen and his look is fierce as a warrior on the horse with the sword and the other members of his army backing him. The moustache and the sword stand out.

'Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi' is based on the life of the warrior queen. She was the first woman in history to fight against the British and started the first war for Independence. The historical biographical film is jointly directed by  Krish and Kangana Ranaut and is produced by Zee Studios. It is all set to hit the theaters on January 25, 2019.
