It was Pahlaj Nihalani who produced actor Govinda's debut film 'Ilzam' in the year 1986. The duo then paired up in 1992 and 1993 for 'Shola Aur Shabnam' and 'Aankhen'. Now, after 25 years the duo is back together for 'RangeelaRaja'. The first look of Govinda from the film has been unveiled. Govinda is seen in a vibrant yellow shirt with multi-coloured polka dots on it. In the film, Govinda will be seen in a double role but will have four distinct characters.

Sharing the poster, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "After over 25 years, the Hit team of #Ilzaam, #SholaAurShabnam and #Aankhen - producer Pahlaj Nihalani and Govinda - team up yet again... Here's the first look poster of #RangeelaRaja... Govinda will be seen in a double role... Portrays four distinct characters in the film..."

On the other hand, Govinda is also gearing up for the release of 'FryDay'. The trailer of the film releases recently had showed Govinda in his iconic element.  The film also stars  Varun Sharma, Brijendra Kala, Rajesh Sharma and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film produced by Sajid Qureshi is slated to release on October 12.

Meanwhile, Pahlaj Nihalani had quoted much controversy in his term as the Chairperson of CBFC (Central Board Of Film Certification). Under his rule, he made cuts to the kissing scenes in the film 'James Bond' and had also suggested 89 cuts for 'Udta Punjab'. However, the film later won the case against the CBFC and was released with one cut. Also, the censor copy of the film had leaked online ahead of the official release of the film.

He was finally sacked from his position in 2017. He was succeeded by Prasoon Joshi.
