The shoot of India's cinematic biggest presentation recently ended and the makers revealed the captivating posters of all the 'Thugs' that left the audience asking for more. The fans have been kept on tenterhooks ever since the announcement of the film. And, as the days of the trailer launch are coming close, one can say that there are a quite a few elements coming into play. Although, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan sharing screen space together is a big enough ordeal for the fans to come flocking to the theatres, there are other enthralling features that the audience should look forward to before watching the film.
And, so here are five things to watch out for in 'Thugs of Hindostan'
1. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan collaboration
With the two best actors the country has seen, it is difficult to say the hurricane it will create at the box office. The two actors have a collective fan base which will alone be enough to guarantee monumental box office prospects. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheik in pivotal roles. However, this is the first time both Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen sharing screen space together.
2. Most Expensive Bollywood Movie
Reportedly, 'Thugs Of Hindostan' has an estimated budget of 210 crores and is said to be one of most expensive Bollywood movies of all times. It is also based on based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s period novel 'Confessions of a Thug'. The film is said to feature sea battles similar to ones seen in films such as 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
3. Epic Period Drama
While drama based epic period films such as 'Padmaavat', 'Baahubali' and 'Bajirao Mastani' have done exceptionally well at the box office, one can say that 'Thugs of Hindostan' will just add more value, action and adventure given the release of motion posters. This is also Aamir Khan's second film based on history after 'Mangal Pandey'
4. Visual Experience
The film will see the use of VFX and is said to be shot in picturesque destinations such as Malta and parts of Thailand. As the motion posters suggested, the film will also see the use of massive ships and have been filmed in other extravagant Indian locations such as Rajasthan, that will be a treat to the audience. The film will be the fifth Indian film to release in IMAX. Before this other films such as ' Dhoom 3', 'Bang Bang', 'Baahubali 2' and 'Padmaavat' have been released in IMAX.
5. Katrina Kaif's special number
The actress is said to be performing an out-of-box special number for 'Thugs of Hindostan'. In the video, she can be seen practising her dance moves where she looks like a complete perfectionist.
