Work-life balance is very important for any professional. In this day and age of mad hours and work WhatsApp groups, it's difficult to not be at the office 24x7, whether in body or spirit. And there's no reason why the same needn't be true in the case of Bollywood celebrities.
The life of a star, as we've discussed previously, is not as easy as we'd like to believe. Their shoot schedules are often easily capable of throwing the body's Circadian rhythm completely out of sync and the work is generally grueling. And as anyone who's tried to make the most of their time off will tell you, even 'chilling' can be super tiring.

When it comes to weekends, first and foremost, it's important that everyone get them. The next step is to plan it out so that one can get the right mix of relaxation and fun. As far as the latter goes, Saturdays can be really useful. By the time Saturday arrives, the manic post-workweek party binge with co-workers is done, and there is time and opportunity for more specific and expansive endeavours.
However, by the time Sunday rolls in, people's minds have begun to move towards the week to come, and so by then, rest and food are paramount. As if to emphasize this point, some of our favourite Bollywood celebrities have been posting on social media about all the fancy (and sometimes not so fancy) things they've been eating and drinking.
First up are the Shetty sisters. Shilpa's gone in for two undisputed favourites:
The Pani Puri/ Puchchka/Golgappa ( whatever you like to call it)
And then there are Boondi Ladoos. Fresh Boondi ladoos. Which are yum.
Meanwhile, sister Shamita was bamboozled by the selection of cakes on offer. And who can blame her!
Speaking of cake, Huma Qureshi celebrated her birthday on Friday. And has put up a picture of her own selection. There are five in total, generally favouring chocolate. And then there are whispers of a 'fab healthy quinoa cake', which sounds like fiction. Regardless, hope you had a happy birthday, Huma!
Evelyn Sharma, meanwhile, has shared what is most likely a throwback. She's talking about how her involvement in the upcoming 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' allowed her to go back to Punjab. Don't let the Coffee mug fool you-- that's Lassi in there!
And then there's this picture of Lopamudra Raut eating a snake. We're not quite sure what's going on but she seems to be getting a kick out of it.
And finally, here are Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan out to lunch in Bandra, Mumbai.
So are you feeling inspired to get something tasty to eat before the doom and gloom that precedes Monday blues sets in?
