The usually more ‘proper’ of the two, Deepika Padukone stepped into ‘Ranveer Singh territory’ with a goofy video where she uninhibitedly delivers a dialogue from his recent hit ‘Simmba.’ While the video went viral immediately also because he called her his 'Cheerleader', what would perhaps go further viral is the couple’s super adorable exchange in the comments section.
Watch the video here:
The actress wrote about the things her husband makes her do to entertain him, and the latter replied it is payback time. The couple also conveyed the three magical words to each other, but the interesting bit is the nickname that the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ star used for his wife, ‘Jaana-banana.’ The term exists but we’re not quite sure what that means as it’s not used that often. However, we’re sure Ranveer has a special reason to call her that.
Even Ranveer’s ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Alia Bhatt called it ‘epic.’
There were many other celebrities like Richa Chadha, Bipasha Basu, Kubbra Sait, Shanoo Sharma, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Kystle D’Souza, Zareen Khan, who loved the video and called it ‘cute’ and used heart and laughing emoticons.
This is not the first nickname that Ranveer has used for his ladylove. Like the two lovely words he used for his wife in this post, previously he had termed her his ‘hummingbird’ on 'Koffee with Karan.' When the actress had called him ‘unstoppable’ after the teaser of ‘Gully boy’, she was ‘superpower’ for him. And before their marriage, at an event for ‘Padmaavat’, he had described her as ‘Ying to his Yang.’
At the recent success bash for ‘Simmba’, he referred to her as Laxmi (Hindu goddess of wealth or fortune) to credit her for the success of his first film after marriage. The actress was also seen blessing Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar in a viral snap.
