The much-anticipated trailer of upcoming Bollywood film 'Thackeray' released on December 26 following a launch event in Mumbai amid controversies over the Censor board objecting to certain dialogues in the film. The biopic narrates the story of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray and features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the iconic political leader.

However, with just a few weeks left for the film to release, seems like the 'Thackeray' fever has taken over the city of Mumbai. Republic TV recently got hold of a few pictures, where one can see huge 'Thackeray' banners alongside the Shiv Sena symbol at the cinema theatres.

In a unique promotional stunt, the vada pav stalls were also creatively decorated with the film's promotional banner and titled 'Shiv Vada Pav'. Plus, the party's iconic orange flags were also mounted on top of the theatres, thus proving that the film's fever is taking over the city.
