Like every year, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan, was spotted extending his prayers at the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal which is famous for its extensive footfall of celebrities each year during the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Like every year, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan, was spotted extending his prayers at the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal, which is famous for its extensive footfall of celebrities each year during the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. 

The ginormous idol of Ganesha coupled with an impeccable display of decorations ups the excitement of followers that attend in thousands of numbers each passing year. With 35 organisers coming together to weave magic over the last 84 years, it has become a tradition for Bollywood celebrities to visit the pandal and offer their prayers to the holy deity.

Lalbaugcha Raja was set up in 1934 in the Lalbaug locality which is nearby Lower Parel and Curry Road. According to popular reports, the idol of Ganpati is created and designed by the Kambli family, who have been designing it since 1935. The 11 days long festivities see the city of dreams coming alive with lights, flowers and merriment that is carried forward from generation to generation. People from all walks of life join in the celebrations and relish the homemade cuisines in the process. 

On workfront, Amitabh will be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in YRF's 'Thugs Of Hindostan'. Yash Raj Films'  unveiled the logo of this action entertainer and announced the release date of the film as November 8, 2018.

Along with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, the film stars  Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ronit Roy, Satyadev Kancharana and Abdul Quadir Amin. There have also been talks about  Jackie Shroff joining the cast, but could not do so because of conflicting commitments. The film marks the second collaboration of Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Vijay Krishna Acharya after 2013 Blockbuster hit 'Dhoom 3'.  'Thugs of Hindostan' is scripted and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, while it is produced by  Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. With a production budget of Rs. 210 crore, this will count as the most expensive film, along with 'Tiger Zinda Hai' that released in 2017.
