The makers of the much-anticipated film 'Gully Boy' released the rap-packed title track of the film called 'Apna Time Aayega' on Monday, January 14. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who is going to play the lead in the film, took to Twitter and announced the release of the song. In the music video, Ranveer, who will be acing the role of a street rapper, can be seen spitting fire. The two and a half minute video is packed with intense lyrics, catchy music and shots from the film. The hardcore presentation of the life of the character through the song is sure to give you goosebumps. 

The song is penned by Indian rapper Divine and Ankur Tewari and is composed by the former and Dub Sharma. It is sung by Ranveer Singh himself. Sharing the music video on Instagram, Ranveer said, "#ApnaTimeAayega OUT NOW !"

 Earlier on the day, Ranveer teased the release of the song with a short clip. He captioned the post saying, "#ApnaTimeAayega .... OUT TODAY."

Meanwhile, Ranveer has once again proved his versatility playing a street rapper in the film. The actor who appears to have fit in the role perfectly have also aced the skills of rapping. The actor was heard rapping throughout the trailer and the teaser of the film previously seems top have voiced the whole song himself. In fact, he has also performed in front of a live audience during the trailer launch.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, 'Gully Boy' tells the story of an aspiring rapper. However, since success comes easy for none, the boy who is from a humble beginning has to struggle his way up to the heights of fame. Besides Ranveer, the film also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead. 

The film has already raised the expectations of the audience with its rap-packed trailer and a splendid performance of the lead pair in the preview. Moreover, the film has been selected for an international film festival, which already speaks volumes about what to expect. It will be co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions. 'Gully Boy' is all set to hit the big screens on February 14, 2019.
