The much-anticipated trailer of 'Gully Boy' released on Wednesday, January 9, and the internet is awestruck by the same. The film which is reportedly based on the story of Indian rapper Divine, who rose to the height of success starting from a humble beginning.
Earlier on the day, Ranveer announced the trailer launch on Twitter and shared the about 3 minutes video on the micro-blogging site with the inspiring caption, "His words will set him free. #GullyBoyTrailer out now."

'Gully Boy' trailer starts off with an underground rap battle between two groups of people. Here Ranveer's character is shown as a mere background guy as he initially lacks the confidence to put himself out there. But slowly with the love and encouragement of his ladylove, played by Alia Bhatt, he starts to work towards his dreams. But life isn't that simple and the path to success isn't easy.
The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead and from the previews, one can expect whirl winding romance between the lead pair. Ranveer and Alia are both brilliant with as they have their expressions, body language and slang down pat.
While fans and critics are buzzing about the film several Bollywood stars have also joined the bandwagon as they reviewed the film on Twitter. While fans have given a huge thumbs-up to the intense musical drama, celebrities seem to be equally impressed by the Zoya Akhtar's directorial.
