Has Anand Ahuja come up with the most cryptic Happy Diwali post of all time?

Those who have lived their lives on the Internet for the last few years may well see a similarity between the (online)events of the day and what transpired almost exactly two years ago. Just like on November 8 of 2016, the social media-verse has been dominated by India and the US. While back then it was Demonetisation and Donald Trump winning the US election, this time it's Diwali and the US Mid-terms. And within all of that -- two heady days containing multitudes of tweets, posts, likes, stories, snaps, boomerangs and more -- what may be the most cryptic thing on social media has now surfaced.

The origin of this wonder of obscurity is Anand Ahuja, who is clearly living up to the #EverydayPhenomenal billing of his and Sonam Kapoor's wedding and has sent in his candidate for the most 'huh?' Diwali greeting of the year (and potentially for all time!)

Anand's Diwali post comprises two photos.

The first photo is of his iPad -- its back to be specific. As is clearly visible, he's decked up every meaningful square-inch with stickers. There's a 'the iconic Common Man', a Nike Ice-skate, and two stickers of startups. There are another two that are best described as 'attitude' stickers, and lastly, one that looks like a (mildly politically incorrect) souvenir from a city that has a Chinatown. It is maybe possible that this photo has nothing to do with Diwali.

The second photo in the post is the likelier candidate to be about Diwali. It's a snap of lights, where potentially both camera and subject have been moved simultaneously. It resembles sparklers leaving an imprint on the mind's eye when moved around very fast.

His caption for the post is:

No matter the topic, total effort will win people’s heart. #gr8likewhoa #HappyDiwali 🎇
