Here’s The First Look Of Shahid Kapoor From ‘Kabir Singh’

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor started shooting for his upcoming venture 'Kabir Singh'. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday, November 25, and shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the film. The monochrome picture unveils Shahid's first look from the film where he can be seen sporting a trimmed beard. He captioned the post saying, "On set. #kabirsingh"

'Kabir Singh' is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga.The project is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series and stars Kiara Advani opposite Shahid Kapoor in the lead. As per media reports, the film narrates the story of an alcoholic surgeon named Kabir Singh, who has anger management issues. He goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover gets married to someone else. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 21, 2019.

Talking about the film, the actor had previously revealed that he is both curious as well as excited about the film. As per reports, the actor said that he wanted to try his part in the 'Arjun Reddy' remake and see what he can do with it. He further added saying that he was quite curious to take up the role and excited enough at the same to not let it go. 

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor was last featured in Shree Narayan Singh's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and Krishan Kumar the film tanked at the box office. 

Shahid is soon to appear in Season 6 of filmmaker Karan Johar's controversial chat show 'Koffee With Karan' with his brother Ishaan Khattar. The actor confirmed the same in a couple of social media posts. He shared pictures from the sets of the show on Instagram and captioned it saying, "Baby boy I always got your back."
