Mira Rajput has become a favorite among the paparazzi ever since she tied the knot with Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor. The star wife often makes news for her impeccable fashion sense. The couple is currently expecting their second child and as per reports, Mira recently revealed who will select the name for their second child.

Mira reportedly said that since Shahid was the one who had picked the name for their daughter Misha, she might be the one to pick a name this time around. She further stated that the couple is yet to zero in on a name and are open to suggestions. Misha is a combination of Mira and Shahid's names and it will be interesting to see if the couple opts for a similar approach as they decide on a name for their second child. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied in the knot in July 2015 and welcomed their first child on August 26, 2016. As per reports, Mira said that it is important to keep a balance between her first and second born. She went on to add that it is important to ensure the child who has been the center of attention all this while doesn't feel ignored or neglected when the second child comes along.

Meanwhile, Mira Rajput recently made her acting debut in a television commercial for Olay. The star wife, however, faced flak for her first on-screen appearance with many netizens criticising the 24-year-old for endorsing an anti-aging cream. During the trailer launch of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', when Shahid was asked about his wife's acting debut, he said, "When she does a press conference ask her. Today women have their own minds and make their own decisions."

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial 'Padmaavat' starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, will next be seen in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. The movie highlights the issue of electricity shortage and the inaccuracies in electricity bills in India. The film, which also features Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma, is slated for a release on September 21.
