Bigg Boss 11 was one of most controversial seasons in the show's entire history. From Swami Om throwing pee at the contestants and forced to leave the premises by security guards, to many verbal and physical spats, the show had it all. But one of the biggest highlights was the showdown between Salman Khan and one of the contestants Zubair Khan. It was truly a shocking sight when the Bollywood superstar lost his cool on Zubair in front of national television. The filmmaker was eventually really traumatized by the incident and had filed a case against the actor in the Lonavala police station for allegedly threatening to beat him up and destroying his career. Now, after almost a year, Zubair has broken his silence on the matter once again.

Taking to social media, the filmmaker disclosed that he is withdrawing his case against Salman and that he would not be pursuing the matter further. He also revealed that he received a notice to appear in front on Pune Sessions Court but that he won't be going ahead with the proceedings. Zubair also had his reasons to do so which was explained in the post. He disclosed that he was putting the whole issue to rest as it was his dying mother's wish that he should not pursue this any further. He concluded his post by saying that he does not want to trouble Salman or his family in any way anymore. This is indeed a surprising turn of events as he had been really vocal about his decision to take the legal route against the actor.

For the uninitiated, Salman and Zubair had a verbal spat on national television over the latter using obscene language, especially against the women contestants. The director particularly had nasty fights with Arshi Khan and Bandagi Kalra. After the showdown against Salman, Zubair had taken sleeping pills inside the Bigg Boss house and to be rushed out of the premises. Since filing his complaint against the superstar, Zubair had also claimed that someone from the underworld had threatened him on call to either drop the case against the actor or to face consequences.
