Shah Rukh Khan's 'Don' franchise produced Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani was a massive hit. Rumors of the making of 'Don 3' is going on rounds for quite a while now. Recently, producer Farhan opened up about his plans for the same and revealed that there is no update on the project.
Previously, media reports stated that producer Ritesh Sidhwani had opened up about the upcoming venture and had said that producers are discussing a sequel. However, he was unsure about when the film is going on floors.
During a recent interview, Farhan himself opened up about 'Don 3' and said that although they had some ideas, the project is held back as of now. The film is yet to be scripted and nothing is certain about when the film will go on floors.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the 'Don 2' sequel. In fact, netizens have also voiced their request to the filmmakers on social media aking him to initiate the making of 'Don 3'.
Talking about the pressure he has been receiving from fans, the actor turned producer turned musician said that he is even feeling scared to meet Shah Rukh over a normal chit-chat as fans might expect progression in 'Don 3', which is unlikely to happen very soon.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Farhan will be seen alongside Priyanka Chopra in 'The Sky Is Pink'. The Shonali Bose directorial narrates the story of a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency order, called pulmonary fibrosis, at the age of 13. The biographical drama is scripted by Juhi Chaturvedi and will be jointly produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films. Besides Priyanka and Farhan, the film stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles.
