Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is currently busy with his upcoming projects, had to turn down a film with 'Thor' actor Chris Hemsworth.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently riding high on the success with his recently released web series 'Sacred Games'. The web series also starred Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles. The versatile actor has innumerable projects in his kitty and now with praises pouring in for the actor for his outstanding portrayal of Ganesh Gaitonde, the actor has been bombarded with film proposals from across the globe.

Nawazuddin has now been offered Chris Hemsworth's Netflix debut film titled 'Dhaka'. The film is reportedly set in India and will be shot in the country too. But the 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz' star had to turn down the offer as he already has several projects in the pipeline and the star couldn't take up the film due to his jam-packed schedule.

On the work front, the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor is currently gearing up for his next film 'Manto', where he plays the lead role of the Indo- Pakistani Urdu author- writer, Saadat Hasan Manto. The film follows the most tumultuous years and times in the life of the famed writer and is directed by Nandita Das. 'Manto' will also be showcased at the second edition of Singapore South Asian International Film Festival 2018 (Sg.SAIFF). Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also all set to share screen space with superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming movie 'Thalaivar 165'. This film will mark Nawazuddin's Tamil debut.

The 'Gangs of Wasseypur' star recently shared his excitement of working with the superstar on social media. Nawaz shared a picture of him rehearsing lines from the sets of the movie and captioned the picture saying, "Rehearsing my lines for my first Tamil movie #Thalaivar165. Delighted to be working with the Superstar #Thalaivar".

The movie also features Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Simran, Sanath Reddy, Munishkanth, Megha Akash, and Deepak Ramesh in pivotal roles. '#Thalaivar165'  is helmed by Karthik Subbaraj.

With so much on his hands, Nawazuddin Siddique had to turn down a film with Chris Hemsworth.
