Here's Why Saif Ali Khan And Kareena Kapoor Have Not Shared Screen Space Since Their Wedding

Bollywood power couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had fallen in love while they were shooting for 'Tashan'. While, the film did not do great at the box-office, it did wonders for Saif and Kareena's relationship which culminated into a marriage. However, the two actors have never appeared together on screen post their marriage in October, 2012. They were last seen together on the silver screen in the film 'Agent Vinod' that released months before their wedding. 

Recently, in an interview with a news daily, the 'Sacred Games' actor revealed that the reason the two have stayed away from working together is because of him. The actor said that he has been saying no to working with Bebo in recent years because he has always ensured that there is a clear demarcation between his personal and professional life. However, he further said that the lines have now getting blurred, with his father not being around and him being the defacto head of the family. This he said has brought a change in his outlook.

Talking about working with Kareena, the actor said that he might consider if a good script comes their way. He said that when Kareena is on screen, he does not perform well. He said that he becomes  deferential and slightly boring in the frame. The 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' actor  further said that in her presence, he does not put in the required energy and plays himself, which he feels is bad.

The couple had a son in 2016, named Taimur Ali Khan. A paparazzi favourite, Taimur Ali Khan is popular in the social circle and keeps breaking the internet now and then.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the popular Indian origin Netflix series 'Sacred Games'. The actor will next be seen in the upcoming film 'Baazaar', which is set to release on October 26.
