Karan Johar shared an interesting creative illustration on Sunday and he seems to have trolled United States of America President Donald Trump with it.
The filmmaker shared a cartoon on Instagram stories where the US President is standing on a weighing scale and shouts, ‘fake news’ looking at the number it pointed out. KJo related to the joke and called it a ‘true story.’
For the uninitiated, Trump is the person who popularised the term ‘fake news’ during the Presidential election. The former entrepreneur had used it to describe the negative press coverage of him during the intense campaigning for the post of President. From memes to videos, the term had given netizens the opportunity to get creative with.
Out of the numerous aspects of Trump, his weight has been a subject of public debate for long too. It was earlier this year that netizens were shocked when a doctor revealed that he was 6’3 and 239 pounds. They made collages of sportspersons and actors whose weight and height was in the same range and wrote how they looked in comparison to Trump.
We wonder if KJo joined the brigade or he just related to the illustration of disbelief when one’s weight goes up.
Karan’s earlier connection with a US President was when the plot of his movie ‘My Name is Khan’ had the protagonist’s intention to meet the President. The film had featured a scene about Shah Rukh Khan meeting a character based on the then President Barack Obama at the White House.
On the professional front, Karan Johar tasted success with his latest production 'Simmba', which earned close to Rs 45 crore in the first two days.
