Housefull franchise has come up with their 4^th installment Housefull 4, under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is a multi-starrer film featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda in pivotal roles. The trailer of the film was published. The trailer received an overwhelming response from the audience across the nation. But there was one noticeable thing in the trailer - Sajid Khan was not given the directorial credits.

Sajid Khan not the director of Housefull 4

At the time of #MeToo allegations, the then director of Housefull 4 Sajid Khan was accused by three women. After the incident, Sajid Khan was made to step down from his directorial duties. Farhad Samji took on the role of director to finish the filming of Housefull 4. Akshay Kumar revealed that Sajid Khan directed 60% of Housefull 4. Akshay Kumar also mentioned that Sajid Nadiadwala's production house decided to not give directorial credits to Sajid Khan and that is the way it is going to be now.

Akshay Kumar further added that after the #MeToo movement made its way to India, the film industry has been a more secure place. He also stated that there have been a lot of changes since #MeToo. Akshay Kumar also added that every production company that he knows has officers to deal with such cases. These companies make sure that nothing goes wrong. There is a lot of security and the production house wants no misbehaviour happening, added Akshay Kumar.

On being asked whether Akshay would ever collaborate with Sajid Khan in future, Akshay said that he is open to working with Sajid Khan if he gets a clean chit if he is acquitted of everything. Akshay also mentioned that he does not know what exactly happened but if he is acquitted, Akshay will surely work with him.  So to conclude, by Akshay Kumar's statements, it could be assumed that Sajid Khan will not be getting any directorial credits for his partial direction in Housefull 4. The movie is all set to hit the screens on October 25, 2019
