How Ranveer Singh gave his young fan a ‘day to remember forever’

'Gully Boy' Ranveer Singh is currently enjoying the time of his life, both professionally and personally, courtesy the superhit 'Simmba' and marriage to Deepika Padukone. While his fan following has received a further fillip of late, there have been those who’ve loved him ever since he shot to fame with ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ in 2010. The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ star acknowledged the affection from one such fan by taking time out of his busy schedule to give her a moment to cherish.

Muskaan, a die-hard fan of Ranveer since years, was recently in Mumbai and didn’t want to leave the Maximum City without meeting her favorite star. She thus landed at the Bhavnani residence and even waited for a long time just to get a glimpse of the ‘Padmaavat’ star. 

The actor’s family informed him and despite the hectic promotions of ‘Gully Boy’, in the small free window he got, he drove home just to meet Muskaan. Not just that, the two spent some time together and clicked loads of pictures, leaving the youngster overwhelmed. 

 “A girl, Mushkaan Arora, is a die-hard fan of Ranveer for years and she has been trying her best to meet him. The girl was in Mumbai yesterday and took a chance to go to his home to catch a glimpse of Ranveer. Little did she know then, that it would become a very special day of her life,” says a building source. 

“When Muskaan reached Ranveer’s home, she asked if he was around. Ranveer wasn’t but the security informed the family about her. The family immediately intimated Ranveer about the same. The girl was ready to wait and she was extremely sweet to understand that Ranveer was busy in hectic promotions. Thankfully, Ranveer had a free window and he drove down post promotions particularly to meet her. They took pictures and spent quite some time. Of course, she was overwhelmed, it was an incredibly special moment for her,” the source adds.  

The teenager’s excitement was palpable as she proudly shared the snaps on social media where we see Ranveer delightedly smiling and posing. She conveyed her gratitude to the person who she called ‘idol’, ‘life’, ‘happiness’. Muskaan requested him to stay the way he is and ‘keep ruling hearts’. The youngster concluded by calling it a ‘day to remember forever.’

Ranveer has always been without a doubt one of the most ‘fan-friendly’ stars, always acknowledging and posing for pictures with fans as far as it is possible, and this fact just got reinforced with this heartwarming encounter. 

Meanwhile, the actor is seeking to make it three in a row with ‘Gully Boy’ after the success of ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Simmba’ last year. The movie, directed by Zoya Akhtar and also starring Alia Bhatt, features Ranveer as an aspiring rapper. ‘Gully Boy’ hits the theatres on 14 February.
