The much-anticipated Bollywood venture 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' has hit the big screen on January 11, 2016, and viewers seem to be extremely impressed by the war-drama. The film pays tribute to the Indian army and to a new India. It is based on the September 2016 attack by Pakistani terrorists on the Indian Army brigade HQ in Uri, J&K and subsequent Surgical Strike by Indian security forces on terror launchpads in Pakistan. The film features Vicky Kaushal as an Indian soldier who leads the army for the mission.

Following the release of the war-drama, several people have taken to Twitter to review the film. Netizens seem to be overwhelmed with the patriotic zeal of the film as they said it was absolutely flawless. They also widely lauded the actors for their splendid performances and said that they have done justice to their roles.
