Hrithik Roshan and father Rakesh Roshan all set for Krrish 4

Hrithik Roshan is presently revelling in the success of War which earned massive numbers at the box office. Now he has reportedly shifted his focus to Krrish 4. The Krrish 4 project had been reportedly stalled as his father, Rakesh Roshan was unwell. In a recent interview with a daily portal, Hrithik Roshan has confirmed that his father is now healthy and fit. They will soon start working to finish the fourth sequel of the Krrish franchise.

Rakesh Roshan recovers from illness

Hrithik Roshan reportedly said that the franchise is close to their heart. When his father was not keeping well they jointly decided to put it aside until the filmmaker recovered. Earlier in January, Hrithik had shared a post on Instagram that his father has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Now that Rakesh Roshan has recovered, work on the movie Krrish 4 has begun. Hrithik had even posted a picture of them working in the gym together. In the caption, he went on to appreciate the mental strength of his father.

Hrithik Roshan is reportedly close to his father. The Krrish franchise was started with Koi Mil...Gaya. Many well-wishers close to the family had reportedly advised against the movie saying that it might end Hrithik’s career in Bollywood. But the father-son duo proved them wrong when the movie went on to become a massive box-office hit and paved the way for the other films in the franchise.

The production of Krrish 4 has been stalling for quite some time now. But now the film is in the pre-production phase. However, the release date has not been announced. Hrithik had reportedly added in the interview that dates had not been decided yet and they will go on the floor only when everything is in place.
