Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan unveiled the first look of his much-awaited film 'Super 30' on social media. On the occasion of Teacher's day on Wednesday, September 5, the 'Dhoom: 2' actor took to his official Twitter handle and unveiled the first look of the film. In the poster, while Hrithik can be seen giving a fiery facial expression, a few young kids can be seen gearing up for some kind of a competition.
The tagline of the film is 'Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahin Banega, Ab Raja Wahi Banega Jo Haqdaar Hoga'. 'Super 30' is a biopic based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. Kumar, in collaboration with an IPS officer Abhayanand stared a program called 'Super 30' in the year 2002 in Patna, Bihar. Every year, 30 scholar students from the economically backward society are selected for the 'Super 30' program. Kumar trains them to crack one of the most difficult exams of the country, Joint Entrance Examination or JEE, which is the main entrance exam for IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). Anand Kumar bagged one of the most prestigious awards, awarded by the government of Bihar, 'Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar' in 2010, for his initiative of training children of the economically backward society. One might not know, but Kumar also participated in the popular quiz show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' in 2017 and won a prize money of Rs. 25 Lakh.
'Super 30' is helmed by director Vikas Behl of 'Queen' fame. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap and Madhu Mantena's Phantom films and Reliance Entertainment. Besides Hrithik, the film stars 'Stree' actor Pankaj Tripathi and Amit Sadh. The film will mark the second collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Pankaj Tripathi after 'Agneepath'. Television actress Mrunal Thakur who was last seen in renowned television serial 'Kumkum Bhagya', is all set to make her Bollywood debut with 'Super 30'. 'Super 30' is slated for a January 25, 2019 release and is likely to clash with Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi'. Previously, there were reports of the makers of 'Super 30' preponing the release of the film to avert a clash with the Kangana Ranaut starrer. However, going by the date on the poster, the film's release date seems to be unchanged.
